Who makes Public Works Pay?
Public Works Pay is operated by Fiveable Inc. The mailing address is Fiveable Inc., 211 West Mineral St #312, Milwaukee, WI 53204.
What does Public Works Pay offer today?
Public Works Pay is a waitlist today. Nothing is for sale yet, and anyone on the waitlist gets one email on the day it opens. While the reports are being built, the site publishes how to fill out the WH-347 and each state’s certified payroll rules, checked against the Department of Labor’s and the state labor departments’ own pages.
Which reports does Public Works Pay cover?
Public Works Pay covers certified payroll in 11 jurisdictions, federal Davis-Bacon jobs included. Federal jobs: Federal (Davis-Bacon). West: California, Washington and Oregon. Midwest: Illinois and Ohio. East: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Does Public Works Pay make sure a report is compliant?
No. Public Works Pay doesn’t give legal or payroll advice and doesn’t guarantee that a report complies, and it isn’t affiliated with the U.S. Department of Labor or any state agency. The contractor who signs the statement of compliance certifies the report. Rates, classifications and apprentice ratios come from the job’s wage determination and the contract, and questions about them go to the contracting agency, the Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division or the state labor department.
How does Public Works Pay check its facts?
Every fact comes from the Department of Labor, SAM.gov, a state labor department or the statute itself, and every page shows the date we checked it. The editorial standards page explains how pages are sourced, dated and corrected.
