Certified payroll for subcontractors on public jobs.

Certified payroll is the weekly report a contractor on a prevailing wage job signs to show each worker’s classification, hours, rate and fringes. Public Works Pay is building it for small subcontractors: import your payroll, pick the job’s wage determination, and get the WH-347 and your state’s report ready for your e-signed statement of compliance, archived by project. It’s a waitlist today.

You sign and certify every report. Public Works Pay doesn’t give legal or payroll advice.

Where is the job?

Federally funded jobs use the WH-347 and Davis-Bacon rates. State-funded jobs follow the state’s own prevailing wage law, form and portal.

What will Public Works Pay do each week?

Your payroll, importedBring in the week’s hours and pay from your payroll export instead of typing every worker onto the form.

Common questions

Is it a subscription?

Yes. It will be a monthly subscription for each company, with every job and every weekly report included. Nothing is charged today, because it’s a waitlist.

Does Public Works Pay certify my payroll?

No. The contractor signs the statement of compliance and certifies the report. Public Works Pay fills in the form from your payroll and flags rates below the wage determination you picked, but it doesn’t decide classifications or rates.

Do I have to use the WH-347?

No. The Department of Labor says the WH-347 is optional, as long as the report you submit has the same information and the signed statement of compliance. Some states and agencies require their own form or portal.

Which states will it cover first?
